Adoptable Cats
Welcome to Our Cat Adoption Page — Where Second Chances Turn Into Forever Homes 🐾
Every cat in our care has been loved, nurtured, and thoughtfully prepared to begin their next chapter with a family of their own. Whether you’re looking for a cuddly companion, a playful sidekick, or a hardworking barn buddy, you’ll find cats here who are ready for a fresh start.
Our adoption fees are $150 for companion cats and $50 for Barn Buddies, unless otherwise specified. We believe every cat deserves the right home, and our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match for both you and them.
All of our cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. This includes:
-
Rabies vaccination
-
FVRCP (distemper) vaccination
-
Spay or neuter
-
Microchip
-
Deworming while in our care
-
When you welcome your new feline family member home, you can focus on bonding, helping them settle in, and building a lifetime of memories—without the added stress of routine medical to-dos (aside from emergencies, of course).
By adopting, you’re not just gaining a companion—you’re giving a deserving cat the second chance they’ve been waiting for. We can’t wait to help you find your perfect match. 💛🐱
Black
Meet Black 🖤
Black is a young, approximately 5-month-old kitten with a quiet soul and a heart that’s just learning how to trust. She and her brother Decker were rescued from a Nisku warehouse used for housing toxic chemicals. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Zoe’s SNR program, they were safely trapped, spayed/neutered, and given the chance at a better life in rescue care.
Black is still unsure about humans and can be a bit standoffish at first. She hasn’t quite learned yet that people can be kind—but once she’s gently picked up and held, she melts. The purring starts instantly, and it’s clear she wants love… she’s just not sure how to ask for it yet.
She hasn’t been exposed to dogs or children, as we want to keep her stress levels low while she continues to decompress and learn. With time, patience, and a calm, quiet environment, Black has all the potential to become an amazing companion. She would do best in a peaceful home with someone who understands shy kitties and is ready to help show her that the world—and humans—can be safe and loving.
If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in earning trust and watching a scared kitten blossom, Black may be the perfect addition to your home. 🖤

Decker
Meet Decker 🐾
Decker is a sweet, approximately 5-month-old kitten with a curious but cautious nature. He and his sister Black were rescued from a Nisku warehouse used to store toxic chemicals, thanks to the lifesaving efforts of Zoe’s SNR program. They were safely pulled, spayed/neutered, and now are ready to find homes where they can truly thrive.
Decker is a little reserved around humans at first and can take his time deciding if someone is trustworthy. But once he’s in your arms, he immediately shows his soft side—purring contentedly and snuggling in for affection. He may seem hesitant, but underneath it all, he’s a kitten who wants love and attention, he’s just learning how to receive it.
He hasn’t been around dogs or children yet, as we want to ensure he feels safe and not overwhelmed. Decker would shine in a calm, patient home that’s ready to give him the space and time he needs to grow confident. With the right person, he’ll reward you with loyalty, gentle companionship, and endless purrs.
If you’re looking for a shy but loving kitten to patiently bond with, Decker could be the perfect new member of your family. 🐾

Gypsy
🐾 Meet Gypsy – The Gentle Soul
Gypsy is a sweet, timid young boy who came to us after being abandoned in Parkland County along with his four brothers. He’s a little shy at first, taking his time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s an absolute love bug. Gypsy is closely bonded with his brother Boo but could also thrive in a home on his own with some patience and gentle guidance. He’s great with kids, other cats, and dogs—just give him a little time and love, and he’ll make the sweetest companion.

While he’s curious, he takes things at his own pace and is cautious yet incredibly loving. Voodoo is the kind of companion who will watch over you quietly and enjoy life at a relaxed pace while still engaging in play when he feels like it. He’s perfect for someone who wants a patient, calm, and sweet kitty friend.

Trinket
Say hello to Trinket, a gentle soul estimated to be around 6 years or older. Trinket is more on the timid side, and she thrives in quieter environments where she can feel safe—like a calm home or senior household.
She’s wonderful with kids, dogs, and other cats, but she prefers to keep her distance until she feels comfortable. Trinket is a true snuggle bug when she’s ready, seeking affection on her own terms. If you have a peaceful home and are looking for a loving companion who enjoys quiet moments, Trinket could be the perfect match. 💛
Merlin
The Protective Gent
Say hello to Merlin, the gentle guardian of the Five Little Birds! Merlin is likely the father of the younger three and has a quiet strength that makes him one of a kind. At first, he might seem a bit standoffish, but give him a little time and he blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate cat. Merlin keeps a watchful eye on his little ones, making sure everyone is safe and happy. He’s loving, loyal, and would thrive in a home that appreciates his calm, protective nature. Great with kids and cats alike, Merlin is ready to find a family that will cherish his quiet charm.

Trish Kiss
Meet Trish Kiss, a sweet older adult cat, estimated to be 2–4 years old. Trish once had a home and even has a tattoo, but despite our best efforts, her family never came for her. She was left outside to fend for herself in the middle of winter—yet her spirit never wavered. Thankfully, a kind Samaritan rescued her and brought her to us, and now she’s ready for a loving forever home.
Trish is an absolute gem: loving, affectionate, and easygoing. She’s great with dogs, kids, and other cats, litter box trained, and can adjust to whatever life throws her way. Honestly, she’s the perfect cat—ready to shower her next family with love.
Could your home be the one Trish has been waiting for? 💛
Violet
Introducing Violet, a long-haired beauty with a heart to match her stunning looks. Violet is super sweet, clean, and calm, making her a dream companion for any home. She’s great with dogs, kids, and other cats, and her temperament is as amazing as her appearance—my husband even calls her “the perfect cat”!
Violet is affectionate and enjoys attention, but also respects your space. She’s a cat who brings calm and joy wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a loving, low-maintenance feline with a gorgeous coat, Violet is your girl. 💜

Barn Buddies
These guys are feral or semi-feral, so they’re naturally very timid around humans. They are not aggressive, but they are more likely to flee or hide rather than approach. All of them are fantastic with other cats and have lived outdoors, so they have the instincts to thrive as barn cats or outdoor companions. Each cat has his own personality and ideal home situation:
Barn Buddy/ Semi Feral Barn Cat Application:
https://forms.gle/EwhNK8vmLeXBnQjx5
*Barn Buddy cats are feral or semi-feral cats who are not suitable as indoor pets. They are independent, typically avoid human contact, and thrive in working outdoor environments where they can provide natural rodent control. These cats require adopters who understand their needs and limitations and can provide safe, long-term outdoor care.
**Important Requirement
All adopters must have a secure space (stall, tack room, garage, shed, enclosed pen, etc.) to confine the cat for a minimum of 2 full weeks. This allows the cat to acclimate, learn where food and water are provided, and bond to the location before being released outdoors.
Chili
Chili is a playful, affectionate adult who seems to have had a home before. He loves cat toys, treats, and interactive play, often behaving like a kitten when no one is watching. He enjoys human attention and would likely prefer a family indoor home where he can play, be pampered, and receive lots of love.

Dumbledore
Dumbledore is our newest addition, likely at least five years old. He’s timid, may hiss if approached, but never swats or shows aggression. He is clean, well-mannered, uses litter boxes, and loves his soft food. Dumbledore is more of a flight risk than the others, so while he could be a barn cat, he may not be ready to seek human interaction there. With time and patience, he could adjust well to a companion home.

Medical Hold/
Pending Adoption
These are typically new intakes, Too young to fix or in the adoption process. You can still apply for adoption of these cats for when they become available or if their adoption falls through. Applicants willing to foster during the medical hold will get priority of adoption.
*Foster to adopt will require a deposit of the adoption fee with the remainder paid once they are cleared for adoption and the final contracts are signed

Sparrow
The Brave Little One
Introducing Sparrow, the tiniest member of the Five Little Birds, but with the biggest heart. Sparrow is a special little girl who is missing one back foot, but it doesn’t slow her down a bit—she gets around perfectly and with plenty of confidence. Around six to nine months old, Sparrow is sweet, loving, and a little fighter. At this time, she’s under a medical hold, but she’s expected to thrive with the right care. When ready, Sparrow will be the perfect companion for someone looking for a resilient and affectionate little soul.
Pending Spay and vet check of missing limb
Falcon
The Thoughtful Observer
Introducing Falcon, the wise and thoughtful little brown tabby of the Five Little Birds. Falcon is a bit shy and likes to observe life from a distance, but don’t let that fool you—he’s sweet and loving once you gain his trust. He’s independent but never mean, and he’ll happily accept pets, cuddles, and gentle attention when you approach him with patience. Falcon would do best in a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe and go at his own pace while building a bond with his humans.
Pending Neuter

Furever Sanctuary Cats
Welcome to Our Furever Sanctuary
Not every cat’s story ends with adoption — and that’s okay.
At Little Bit of Luck Rescue, some of our beloved cats have faced significant behavioral challenges, complex medical conditions, or unique life experiences that make placement in a traditional home unrealistic or unfair to them. For these special souls, our rescue isn’t just a stop along the way — it’s their furever home.
Our Furever Sanctuary cats are those who are happiest, safest, and most comfortable remaining in the environment they know, surrounded by caregivers who understand their individual needs. Some require ongoing medical treatment or specialized care. Others are fearful, semi-feral, or have endured trauma that makes transitioning into a home setting stressful rather than enriching. A few simply thrive in a structured, familiar space where expectations are gentle and routines are predictable.
Here, they are not overlooked. They are not “less adoptable.” They are cherished residents.
Each sanctuary cat receives personalized care tailored to their physical, emotional, and behavioral needs. From daily medications and specialized diets to quiet spaces and patient, understanding handling, we are committed to ensuring their days are filled with comfort, dignity, and love.
The Furever Sanctuary is our promise:
That every life matters.
That every cat deserves safety.
And that even if adoption isn’t the right path, belonging still is.
These cats may not leave our care — but they will never leave our hearts.
Old Man
Old Man is our senior gentleman and the most relaxed of the group around other cats. He’s just starting to let humans touch him, but don’t expect him to come seeking affection. If he’s resting and unaware, he will enjoy a gentle pet—but if he sees you coming, he’ll likely run and hide. Old Man loves the company of other cats and is usually found at the bottom of the snuggle puddle. He would make a wonderful barn companion or a quiet, cat-focused home.
