Every dog in our care has been loved, nurtured, and fully prepared to start their next chapter with you.
Our adoption fees are $550 for dogs under 18 months and $450 for adult dogs over 18 months. Senior dog adoption fees are case by case, as we strive to place our seniors in the very best homes with flexibility and care.
All of our dogs come fully vetted before adoption. This includes rabies, all three rounds of distemper, Bordetella, spay/neuter, microchip, and monthly deworming while in our care. When you bring your new family member home, you can focus on bonding, love, and helping them settle in—without worrying about routine vet appointments or unexpected medical to-dos (aside from emergencies, of course).

Meet Stu

1-Year-Old Alberta Prarie Dog Special (Large Mix Breed) | Approximately 60 lbs
Sometimes the best dogs are the ones who just need someone willing to truly understand them. Meet Stu, a tall, lovable, goofy sweetheart who is ready to find the family who sees what we see: an incredible dog with so much love, personality, and potential to give.
Stu is the kind of dog who makes you smile just by walking into the room. He has a puppy heart, a playful spirit, and a personality that is impossible not to love. He absolutely adores other dogs, is great with cats, and has a special place in his heart for kids. Stu truly believes everyone he meets is just a new friend waiting to happen, whether they asked for a new best friend or not!
Now, because Stu is still young, he comes with all the wonderful (and sometimes hilarious) things that come with having a puppy brain in a big dog body. He is smart, curious, energetic, and always ready for his next adventure. He loves toys he can chew, games that challenge his brain, and anything that lets him show off just how clever he is. This boy doesn’t just need a walk around the block, he needs a mission! Puzzle toys, enrichment activities, and training games are the perfect way to keep his brilliant mind busy and help him continue growing into the amazing dog he is meant to be.
One very important thing about Stu is that he truly thrives with consistency, structure, and routine. His kennel is not a punishment, it is his safe space. It gives him a place to relax, decompress, and feel secure when life gets a little too exciting. Continuing his kennel training will be a requirement for his forever home because we have seen how much confidence, calmness, and security it provides him.
Unfortunately, Stu recently found himself back in our care because his previous family struggled with normal puppy behaviors and chose not to continue with the structure and guidance he needed. Puppies are adorable, but they are also learning, growing, and figuring out how to navigate the world. Stu wasn’t being “bad” ,he was simply being a puppy. He needed patience, consistency, and someone willing to teach him what was expected of him. His kennel was taken away and so was his structure and he just didn't know what was expected of him.
And let us tell you… this boy is absolutely worth it.
Stu is sweet, affectionate, playful, and eager to please. He is the kind of dog who will make you laugh, keep you entertained, and remind you every day how much joy comes from giving a dog the chance to grow into their best self.
He is a tall drink of water, a gentle giant in the making, and quite possibly one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. Behind those goofy puppy moments is a dog who wants nothing more than to love his people and be part of a family.

Prince Charles
🖤 Meet Prince Charles — A.K.A. Charlie! 🖤
Prince Charles, better known as Charlie, is officially ready to find his forever home! 👑🐾
Charlie is a young adult Black Lab cross with what we believe may be a little hound mixed in. Whatever his mix may be, one thing is certain,this boy is absolutely fantastic.
Charlie is a tall, handsome, submissive big guy with a heart of gold. He absolutely loves people and is a champion hug giver! 🥰 He is eager to please, incredibly food motivated, and has proven to be a quick learner. He picked up walking nicely on a leash really, really quickly and continues to impress us with how far he has come during his time in our care.

Charlie has shown interest in cats and goats, but he has not displayed concerning prey drive toward them. Birds are definitely a little more exciting to him, but even with his curiosity and interest, he has never hurt one.
Charlie loves to run, play, and enjoy life, and watching him grow and gain confidence has been absolutely incredible. He has come so, so far since arriving with us, and we truly believe he is going to make a phenomenal companion.
Honestly, Charlie is one of those dogs that is just hard to find anything negative to say about. He is a pretty great dog all around, and we don't have any major concerns about him.

Princess Charlotte
Meet Charlotte 💕 — The Sweetest Little Princess
If you’re looking for a dog with a heart as big as her personality, meet Charlotte! This petite little princess is truly a social butterfly and an absolute love bug. She adores people and is wonderful with kids, cats, goats, and just about everyone she meets.
Charlotte is the kind of dog who makes life easy. She has no real desire to wander, is wonderfully well behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. She is already kennel trained and has been an absolute delight to care for. We currently have no concerns to note about her temperament or behaviour.
We believe Charlotte is a young adult, approximately 1–2 years old, and she is small and petite in stature. Her appearance suggests she may be a Basset Hound/Lab mix, though her exact breed mix is unknown.
Charlotte is currently on hold until she can have and recover from her upcoming spay, scheduled for September 4th. Once she has healed and is cleared for adoption, this sweet girl will be ready to find her forever family.
With her gentle nature, social personality, excellent manners, and enormous capacity for love, Charlotte is sure to make someone a very special companion. 💗
Princess Diana
👑 Meet Princess Diana 👑
Princess Diana may just be the most well-trained member of the Royal family! This beautiful girl is estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old and has quickly shown us what an incredibly well-mannered companion she can be.
Diana is house trained, kennel trained, and leash trained, and she even knows to sit politely when she comes inside. She is affectionate with the people she trusts and absolutely loves giving kisses and hugs.
With new people, Diana can be a little standoffish at first. She prefers to stand back, observe, and make sure everything is safe before deciding you're worthy of joining her inner circle. We think this is because Diana takes her role very seriously, she is definitely the guardian of the Royals who came into rescue together!
Once she knows and trusts you, however, Diana transforms into one of the most beautiful, loving, well-behaved, and well-mannered dogs you could ever imagine. ❤️
Diana has shown some fence aggression, so we are continuing to assess how she interacts with other dogs, as we haven't yet had enough opportunities to properly evaluate her. She does not appear concerned with cats, and we honestly believe much of her protective behaviour comes from her strong desire to keep her family safe.
Princess Diana is recovering beautifully from her spay and will soon be ready to trade her rescue life for the loving forever home she deserves.

Prince George
Meet Georgie! 👑🐾
Georgie may be the smallest male of the Royal family, but this handsome boy has plenty of personality! Estimated to be between one and two years old, Georgie is a Black Lab cross with some obvious hound features, especially those absolutely adorable big, floppy ears! We suspect he may have some Basset Hound in his family tree, like Charlotte, although Georgie has a more petite and athletic build rather than the typical stocky Basset body.
Georgie is a well-mannered boy with people and has been making wonderful progress during his time in rescue. He is kennel trained, leash trained, and is currently working on his basic commands and continued training.
He does show some dominant tendencies, which we are actively working on, and he does best with submissive dogs. Georgie also has a noticeable prey drive, so we feel he would be best suited to a home without cats or other small animals.
Mealtime is one area where Georgie appreciates a little personal space. As long as he is able to eat by himself, he is an absolutely wonderful boy and a joy to have around.
Georgie recently had his dewclaws removed during his neuter because they were causing concern, and he is now healthy, happy, and continuing to come a long way.
This sweet boy is still learning and growing, but with continued structure, training, and the right home, Georgie has the potential to become an incredible companion. ❤️

Medical Hold / Foster-to-Adopt Animals
These animals are typically new intakes who are either too young to be spayed/neutered or are still in the adoption process. While they are not yet officially available, you are welcome to apply in advance for adoption once they are cleared—or in the event their current adoption placement does not move forward.
Applicants who are willing to foster during the medical hold period will receive priority consideration for adoption.
*Foster-to-Adopt Note:
A foster-to-adopt placement requires a deposit equal to the adoption fee, with the remaining balance due once the animal is medically cleared and the final adoption contracts are signed.
Furever Fosters
Furever Fosters are animals who, for a variety of reasons, cannot be safely adopted out but are able to live happy, enriched lives in long-term care. These animals often have special needs or ongoing medical or behavioral requirements that are best met in a dedicated foster or sanctuary-style setting.
We kindly ask you to consider donating toward the ongoing care of our Furever animals. Your support helps ensure their medical, dietary, and environmental needs continue to be fully met—giving them the comfort, dignity, and love they deserve.
Queen Camilla
👑 Meet Queen Camilla 👑
Queen Camilla was the last of the Royal Family to join our rescue, and fittingly, she made us work for it! She arrived nearly three weeks after the rest of her family because she was incredibly difficult to catch. Why? Because this girl is smart. Really, really smart.
Camilla is quite possibly one of the smartest dogs we have ever met. She watches everything. She processes every situation. She thinks before she acts. And above all else, she does not give her trust away easily.
The world is still a scary and unfamiliar place for Queen Camilla. She is cautious, fearful, and constantly observing what is happening around her. But even in the short time she has been with us, we have already seen progress. With patience, consistency, and the help of our resident dogs, she is slowly beginning to learn that people can be trusted.
Camilla is naturally quite submissive and doesn't appear to have much of a dominant bone in her body. We believe she would thrive in a patient home with a well-mannered, confident dog who could help show her the ropes and teach her that life can be safe, fun, and full of love.
She is making progress with her leash training, but Queen Camilla still has a long journey ahead of her. At this time, she is not yet available for adoption and remains an extreme flight risk. She will also be visiting the veterinarian this week and will need time to heal and continue building her confidence before she is ready to begin searching for her forever family.
But we believe in her.
With time, patience, understanding, and the right people by her side, we truly believe Queen Camilla has the potential to become an incredible companion. Her intelligence is unmistakable, her beauty is undeniable, and there is something truly special about this girl.
She is one of a kind. She is gorgeous. She is brilliant.
And she absolutely deserves the title of Queen. 👑❤️

Chirp
1-Year-Old Red Heeler | Approximately 30 lbs
If Elle Woods were a heeler, she'd be Chirp.
She's beautiful, endlessly friendly, and often underestimated because of her sweet, innocent expression. But don't let the adorable face fool you—Chirp is a smart little dog who loves learning, solving problems, and figuring out how to earn her next treat.
Chirp is the perfect blend of affectionate companion and fun adventure buddy. While she can be a little shy when first meeting new people, she warms up quickly and forms deep bonds with those she trusts. Once you're in her circle, she wants nothing more than to be near you.
She is wonderful with children, dogs, and cats, and genuinely seems to believe that everyone she meets is a potential friend. Even dogs who normally prefer to keep to themselves can't help but like her
Unlike many cattle dogs, Chirp comes with a surprisingly good off-switch. She enjoys walks, playtime, training, and would likely excel at agility or other dog sports, but she's just as happy curling up beside her people at the end of the day.
She walks nicely on leash, is kennel trained, highly food motivated, and eager to please. Her bark is so unique that it's more of a cheerful little chirp than an actual bark—which is exactly how she got her name.
Chirp has spent much of her young life waiting for a family of her own. She's fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and more than ready to find the people who will appreciate everything she has to offer.
Sweet, funny, intelligent, easy-going, and incredibly loving, Chirp truly is the total package. If you're looking for a best friend who will make every day a little brighter, Chirp might just be your girl.
Meet Chance: A Gentle Soul Who Deserves His Second Chance
7 year old Shar Pei | Approximately 26 lbs
Chance is a 7-year-old Shar Pei who has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure. After being let down by the very people who were supposed to care for him, Chance was abandoned in the middle of nowhere and left to fend for himself. When he came into our care, it was clear that his little body had been carrying the weight of years of neglect.
Chance arrived suffering from severe, untreated mange that had gone on for far too long. He currently has only about half of his hair remaining, but with love, patience, and proper medical care, we are hopeful that his skin and coat will continue to heal. He receives bi-weekly medicated baths and daily medications to help him recover from the damage caused by the years he was left without the care he desperately needed.
Along with his skin issues, Chance is facing serious eye problems. He is currently on a medical hold while we wait for surgeries to remove one eye and repair the other. Chance is mostly blind right now, and we are unsure how much of his vision we will be able to save once his surgeries are complete. Because of his limited sight, Chance will need a home that can accommodate his needs. A single-level home would be ideal, as stairs can be very difficult and unsafe for him when he cannot see where he is going.
Despite everything Chance has endured, his heart has remained completely untouched by the hardships he has faced. He is one of the sweetest, most loving boys you will ever meet. Chance adores people, loves children, and enjoys the company of other animals. All he wants is to be loved, to feel safe, and to finally experience the kindness and comfort he should have had all along.
Chance still has a long road ahead of him. He is expected to remain on medical hold for the next couple of months while we complete his surgeries and continue supporting his recovery. However, that does not mean he has to wait to find his forever family.
If you feel that Chance may be the missing piece in your home, you are welcome to fill out an adoption application. While he is not ready to go home just yet, an approved family may have the opportunity to foster Chance through his recovery and be part of his journey toward healing.
Chance has spent too much of his life without the love and care he deserved. Now, we are determined to show him that his story is not over. This sweet boy still has so much love to give, and we cannot wait to see the beautiful future he has ahead of him.
Angel
✨ Meet Angel — Our Forever Foster ✨
Angel is one of those dogs who quietly changes you forever.
When she came into Little Bit of Luck Rescue, it quickly became clear that her needs were very special. Because of her past, Angel required time, structure, patience, and deep understanding. After eight months of hard work, training, and commitment, we were finally able to help her adjust and safely live within our pack — a huge milestone and one we are incredibly proud of.
While Angel has made amazing progress, we know that the world outside our rescue environment would not always be able to meet her needs safely. She can struggle with reading situations and expressing big emotions, and if her cues are missed or misunderstood, she can react in ways that could be unsafe for other animals or families who aren’t experienced with dogs like her.
Because of that, we’ve made the decision that is truly best for Angel:
She will remain a permanent foster with the rescue.
Angel will stay with me, where she is understood, respected, and supported every single day. She will always be a cherished member of the Little Bit of Luck Rescue family, receiving the care, stability, and love she deserves — without being put in situations that could set her up to fail.
She is not available for adoption, but she is home.
